Prime Minister issuing Decree on guiding some articles of tobacco control law

This Decree will be taken into effect in 5 September 2013 with detail guiding the Clause 4, Article 12, Clause 7 of Article 15, Clause 2 of Article 17 of the Tobacco Control Law. It is focused on the conditions for establishing the tobacco cessation treatment and consultancy service; removal of Designated Smoking Room (DSR) for total indoor smoke free area, the increase of graphic health warnings in the tobacco packet.
In the coming time, the relevant authority could propose and submit to the Government the evaluation report of the potential impact for removal of DSR for indoor smoke free in the followed areas:
1. Public means of transportation that are ships and trains.
2. Isolation areas in the airports
3. Bars, karaoke, parlor, dance halls, hotels and tourist accommodation establishments.
